A future-first brand identity to articulate the business strategy and facilitate growth.

Rebrand

Elixirr challenged us to create a strategically led identity that would keep pace with their restless growth and limitless ambition over the coming years. We wanted to create something truly unique, that would set Elixirr apart and live up to their core brand platform, The Challenger Consultancy.  The conception of this identity is as intelligent and future-proof as it is creative. We’ve concentrated on building a design system to support the brand architecture, which can grow and evolve with the company, and the expansion of the House of Brands.

Highlights

Brand strategy – It was vital that we connected the business strategy with the visual language, whilst differentiating Elixirr from other firms in their industry. We were drawn to the meaning of the company name “the remedy to traditional consulting.” By distilling the brand to a central idea, we were able to create an identity which builds on the company name and reinforces the brand platform – The Challenger Consultancy.

Visual identity – Digital and motion are at the heart of our concept, aligning with Elixirr’s best-in-class approach to digital innovation. The fluidity and dynamism of the mark and the visual language evokes the way the Elixirr team work, and how they shine a light on opportunities for their clients, as well as the speed at which they deliver.

Motion principles – From the first presentation of concepts we used motion to bring the visual identity to life. As concepts evolved and matured, motion principles were developed that allow for the identity to be translated across media and social content in a consistent way into the future.

Roll out – Managing the rollout of a new brand across multiple touchpoints in a fast-paced, client facing environment took careful planning. The most exciting part of the roll out was a website redesign to solve the user pain points we identified during extensive user testing, providing a clearer path to the information that users were looking for. Our development team then worked fast to build the website for the brand launch to align with the release of Elixirr’s first annual results since listing on the stock exchange.

Website Rebuild

Elixirr were looking to establish themselves as having the go-to digital platform within the consulting industry. They wanted to creating a hub of information, a platform to share opinions, insights and news to add real value for the user, and an engaging introduction to what they can do and have done for their clients. The result is a fully responsive, thoughtfully designed website, which has won critical acclaim and, due to our ongoing relationship with Elixirr, continues to evolve as they pivot and adapt.

Highlights

UX – Following in depth discovery, to identify the site’s users and their needs, we mapped out wireframes, which were iterated and developed into living designs that served the user.

Personalisation – It was key that users felt part of the Elixirr journey, so our designers implemented personalisation to key areas of the site.

Development – Frontend and backend specialists worked to turn the designs into a world-class, award winning website.

The creative vision, commitment and calibre of each member of the Den team was unfaltering from the word go. The end result was a brand which encapsulated every angle of Elixirr, from our culture to our growing House of Brands. I am certain that our new identity will be pivotal in helping us become the best consulting firm in the world
