FAQs
None of the data we gather can be traced back to a single individual, meaning all participants are fully anonymous when data analysis takes place. That way, you can be sure that the information we present to you is unbiased.
Our biometrics usability testing is designed to be inclusive. We work with diverse user groups to ensure that the data we gather reflects a wide range of experiences. This approach helps us provide insights that are relevant and applicable to your entire user base.
Absolutely. Biometric technology provides a level of insight that traditional user testing simply cannot match. By understanding unconscious emotional and physiological responses, you can make more informed decisions that directly impact conversion rate and overall user experience.
Galvanic skin response (GSR) measures perspiration levels to reflect the intensity of emotional arousal. GSR is effectively an evaluation tool that allows us to identify subconscious reactions to what’s being viewed.
Eye-tracking technology and eye-tracking devices measure eye movement and visual attention. Eye tracking identifies the point of gaze (i.e. what’s being looked at).
The eye tracker also measures what is being ignored and how the pupil reacts to different stimuli. Advanced eye-tracking equipment allows us to study optical reactions in real time.
The integrated facial analysis software identifies the main feature points of a face (eyes, mouth etc.) and then evaluates facial movements like smiles, brow furrows and eye closure in order to identify emotion. This advanced software can identify 7 different emotions:
- Joy
- Anger
- Surprise
- Fear
- Contempt
- Sadness
- Disgust
We're here to help
At Elixirr Digital, we partner with you to transform your approach to UX research. Our biometrics usability testing services go beyond surface-level data, offering you in-depth analysis to truly understand your website users and how your content makes them feel.
Our biometrics usability testing lab leverages advanced technology to capture user data through facial expression analysis, heart rate monitoring, eye tracking, and galvanic skin response (perspiration levels). Our experts also provide recommendations and comprehensive reporting on users’ emotional responses and behaviors.
By combining all of the biometrics data available, our cutting-edge biometric equipment allows you to pinpoint:
- How your customers feel when they view your site or experience your product’s UI
- Which areas of your site/product are most popular
- Common areas of interest among your target market
- Which creatives have the strongest emotional impact
- How to improve consumer engagement with your brand
- Opportunities for hyper-targeted, personalized ads
The result is data-driven insight into exactly what is turning your audience on and off. This enables you to do more of what excites your customers, and less of what stops them from converting.
