A complete website redesign featuring improved UX, UI, and continuous optimisation.

About the brand

JTC is a publicly listed global professional services firm with expertise in fund, corporate, and private client services.

The company is built on a foundation of shared ownership for all employees and service excellence, providing bespoke solutions to help institutional and private clients achieve their objectives with confidence.

The challenge

The JTC website needed a refresh to enhance design, improve navigation, and optimise search functionality. Alongside that, with some of their services evolving, it became clear that the site also needed to change to better reflect modern offerings and trends. The goal was to provide a smoother user experience (UX), clearer user interface (UI), and improved functionality overall.

To tackle these challenges, we needed to take a holistic approach, starting with UX research to truly understand what users needed, followed by UI design to make the site more intuitive and accessible. Then we would work on a visual overhaul to give the site a fresh, modern look.

Behind the scenes, we needed to focus on both front-end and back-end development to make sure everything worked seamlessly, all while staying on track with the project’s timeline.

The solution

We provided a complete solution, including UX research, web design, web development, basic SEO, and Google Analytics setup for launch, followed by a marketing retainer to ensure ongoing optimisation after the site went live.

UX research and discovery

The UX phase was essential to understanding the core needs of JTC’s users. We held stakeholder kick-offs, conducted outside-in research, ran website polls, analysed data, and did remote interviews. These activities gave us valuable insights that guided the entire redesign process, ensuring it was user-centred.

Design and development

With a solid understanding of the user needs, we moved into the UI design phase, which included a brand refresh to bring the site in line with JTC’s updated vision. Our goal was to create a site that was not only visually appealing but also intuitive and easy to navigate. After finalising the design, we turned to development, making sure the site was fully functional, mobile-friendly, and responsive across all devices.

Addressing content gaps

As we progressed, we discovered that some of the content couldn’t be automatically transferred to the new site. This created an opportunity to work closely with the JTC team to manually load specific content. We tracked this task through the marketing retainer, ensuring everything was done on time, ready for the site’s launch.

Meeting client expectations

Throughout the project, we kept communication open and consistent, with regular updates and review sessions both internally and with the client. The team at JTC had clear and ambitious expectations for quality, delivery, and timing. We made sure to meet these head-on, and we even exceeded them, delivering a site that aligned with their vision and goals.

Ongoing support and future growth

After the site launched, we continued to support JTC with a digital marketing retainer, ensuring the site remains optimised and continues to evolve. This not only reinforced the success of the project but also solidified the ongoing digital partnership between JTC and Elixirr Digital.
